An exercise to help us be familiar with Indesign, paying attention to the shifts in legibility and be comfortable with manipulating and pushing using the two quotes provided.

I was inspired by Joker's 'Why so serious?' and came up with an entire collection of poker cards and illustrations. Quotes are printed at the back.

We created our Totem of Tomorrow based on the idea that today is built on yesterday's memories. Using scrap materials, tape cassettes, comic books and games that we played during our childhood, we came up with nostalgia in gradations and expressions.

We had to conceptualize and create a poster that celebrates the design philosophy of a pioneer in design.

I had Peter Max and honestly speaking, I hated him at first sight due to his massive use of gradients everywhere. As I started my bit of research and illustrating, I came to realise that Peter Max is quite a genius. I can never comprehend his usage of colours and gradients but I guess it's just part of the 60s psychedelic period that's influencing him to really work his magic.

My illustration depicts a scene in my childhood and my love for fairytale houses. I like how houses can look so teeny weeny on the outside and still seem so massive inside.

Description: This series is about different depictions of the sea. I was particularly inspired to paint the sea, as there is something calming yet frightening about it. The vast space is something that we know so little about.

Instead of recreating a faithful likeness of landscape on paper, I wanted to express its essence by using colours and brushstrokes to display emotions. Placing turmoil beside serenity and surreality, juxtaposing the different situations.

These paintings are meant to resonate with people who love the sea like I do. They are a fusion of expressions of my feelings and the many concepts that I have picked up during this period of time.
